CentOS dhcpd.leases

I’ve been using dhcpd on my centos box for a couple of weeks and every so often I check the dhcpd.leases file so see what’s connected, just coz I can.  I’ve noticed that there are multiple entries in there for each IP, which while it’s not a problem for me, could be quite confusing.  So I was looking for a way just to have one entry per IP address, and found this.

edit the dhcpd.conf file, add the fillowing line and restart the dhcp service

one-lease-per-client true;

It seemed to work for me ok.
